This afternoon we painted the canal from our "Take One Picture" art project, The Regatta on The Grand Canal. The children mixed a range of colours and used clingflim to create texture. We absolutely loved this!

🎨Mrs Clayton's class worked so hard this afternoon in their art lesson! They were learning about complimentary colours. These are colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel. They put their sketching skills to the test to draw the outline of a fish then carefully painted it using complimentary colours! Well done Year 3!🎨

Year 6 have been planning new explanation texts today. They have chosen their own topic and spent time researching and making notes. We have topics ranging from The Victorians and The First World War to MMA, netball, water pollution and robotics! 🤖
