Year 4 have had lots of fun investigating how sounds are made this week. We found out that everything that makes a sound vibrates. To try this out, we felt the vibrations from our lips when humming, vibrations of our vocal chords when saying 'ahhh' and the vibrations we can see when we hit a drum .

We then looked at the ear and how its divided it up into three main parts: the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear.

At the end of our lesson, we had a bit of fun and played guess that sound - the children loved it!!
