Welcome

Welcome to our school,

The children at Fairfield are fantastic – they are funny, kind, hardworking, curious and creative. Like all children, they’re not always perfect, so our experienced and caring staff will work with anyone who is struggling and help them to make better choices. If your child is struggling (whether academically or socially) then it is really important that we work together to support them and we expect all of our Fairfield families to be active and willing partners in their child’s school journey.

We whole-heartedly believe in developing the full child and we will support all children to discover what they can succeed at. We have a varied and interesting curriculum that promotes creativity and the excitement of learning for learning’s sake. We recognise that we are all different, but we make up one school.

We also work hard to support all of the families that share our community, and always encourage you to share your ideas, questions or worries with us. This could either be something you feel we need to do or change, or it could be something outside of school that you need support or advice for.

Although we can’t solve all problems, we can work with you to help find the solution. If we can’t help you, we will try to find someone who can.

We want our school to be fit, active and happy, so your child will always be expected to do their best when taking part in PE lessons, playtimes, swimming lessons, afterschool clubs or any of the many physical opportunities that they are offered at school. Every year group is encouraged to take part in daily physical activity and the school takes part in numerous sporting events.

As a school, our aim is to work with you to help our children become the very best people they can be. We want our Fairfield children to be well-prepared for secondary school and all of the exciting challenges that lie ahead of them as teenagers and adults.

Working together, we can make sure that children at Fairfield have the best possible start in their lives.
